Caring for our nations children is a growing challenge. Thousands more families need child care than ever before. But, for many families -- especially those with low and moderate incomes -- high quality, affordable child care is simply not available. USA Child Care is an organization for child care providers who believe that all children deserve high quality care. Our mission is to bring the voice of direct services providers to national and state policy dialogue. There are many other national organizations active in child care-related issues, but no national organization exists to support local and state direct service provider associations committed to serving low- and moderate-income children. What distinguishes USA Child Care is its focus on developing a national network of child care asssociations with the goal of engaging providers in the policy dialogue and increasing their capacity to lead local communities in developing a system of high quality child care. No other group comes face to face on a daily basis with the problems and concerns families have about their childrens early care and education. USA Child Care is a professional organization whose Board of Directors is composed primarily of direct service child care providers -- professionals who understand the child care world. Through public campaigns such as Kid$ Rate, and the National Development Project, USA Child Care promotes whats best for children and families by promoting the best ways to improve our nations child care system. Join USA Child Care. Add your voice to the thousands of other child care providers and child advocates who are working to ensure high quality and affordable child care for all families.
